The Beach Bus

Music, Coffee and a great destination

Start your day with a trip on a bus that has no seats!  You can sip your coffee or cold drink of choice... all available here...  listening to energetic music.... dancing optional...  on a half hour ride to a pristine estuary where the waters will cool you down from the tropical heat.

We take off near Super Express by Central Park / Cathedral of León.

NO RESERVATION NEEDED!

Just board the bus that leaves  at 9:30 a.m. or board anywhere on route.

We pass through Las Peñitas and end in Poneloya's Estuary.

The trip continues on a PANGA boat that will transport you to the island (all in the estuary so no waves or rough waters).  Boat trip is between 3 to 5 minutes depending on  tide.

Plenty to See

Poneloya"s estuary flora and fauna is very diverse.  You can kayak, paddle board or tube its many canals and enjoy nature almost untouched by human hands.

We have a sea turtle hatchery and a mangrove tree nursery.  We've posted information there but we'll be happy to talk to you more about what we do with them and why....questions are welcome.

Cost is C$50 Cordobas each way and that includes the boat trip to Mangrove Island.
